BOSCH ABS Control Module Applications in BMW Vehicles:Important for BMWs and all 5.7 units: After removing the module, do not start or drive the car until after the rebuilt module has been installed. Driving without the module increases the possibility that the rebuilt module will need to be reprogrammed after installation (including steering angle sensor calibration). These modules are found on many 2000-era BMW e39 5 series, 7 series (e38, e65, e66, e67, e68), and the e53 X5, along with all wheel drive 3-series (such as the 2004 325 xi). The e39 modules are by far the most common modules that we rebuild (approximately 50% of our business) and we are extremely familiar with their common failure points. Common faults that we repair are communication failures, wheel speed sensor failues, precharge pump failures, brake pressure sensor failures, and inlet and outlet valve faults. Fault codes for valve relay errors are not repairable. If you have a return flow pump error code, please let us know at the time of your order.
These are only a few sample BMW part numbers. We can generally repair any module that looks like the one above and starts with "0 265." If you do not see your model listed here, please contact us for more information. |
