BOSCH 8.0 ABS Rebuild Service:

We can now rebuild most Bosch 8.0 ABS units. These commonly fail on the 2005-2006 Audi A6 and A8. These units are much more complicated than the 5.3 and 5.7 units used on earlier Audi and BMWs. However, we can still usually repair these in 1-2 days and our standard lifetime warranty applies. Pricing is currently set at $239 USD plus shipping. We are excited to be the first repair shop in the USA to offer this crucial rebuild service for late model Audi and BMW vehicles as replacement units are very expensive and difficult to come by at salvage yards.

Modules commonly fail with the following error codes:

• 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201): Implausible Signal 008 - Implausible Signal
• 01420 Driving Dynamics Regulation High Pressure Switch Valve 1 N227 - intermittent
• 01418 Driving Dynamics Regulation Switch Valve 1 N225 - intermittent

There are many part numbers for these units. On the Audis, the most common ones are 4F0 614 517 L and 4F0 614 517 N (4F0910517L 4F0614517L). These units are used on many late model Audis including the A4, A5, A6, A7, S4, RS4, Q5, and R8.

Please compare your unit to the one below to verify that it is an 8.0 unit. When sending for rebuild, send only the part indicated by the arrow. Do not send the complete assembly with the pump. The module is held on with screws, and you will need an E-socket set (E5 torx socket, specifically) to remove the screws.
